Join the largest fraternal organization in the world open to both women and men!

Eastern Star is a social order comprised of persons with spiritual values, but it is not a religion. Its appeal rests in the true beauty of the refreshing and character-building lessons that are so sincerely portrayed in its ritualistic work. A deep fraternal bond exists between its members. It is the wholesome relationship of sisterly and brotherly love brought about through high principles exemplified in our lives which makes us near and dear to each other.
If you are a Master Mason in good standing or a woman with one of the following specific Masonic affiliations to a Master Mason living or in good standing at the time of his death, age 18 or older, you may become a member:

Legally adopted daughter
Great granddaughter

Half sister

Great niece
1st cousin
2nd cousin
Majority or 3 year active member of International Order of the Rainbow for Girls or Job’s Daughter

To inquire about membership, please complete and submit the Contact form. One of our Chapter members will respond to your inquiry. We will answer your questions and, if interested, help you locate a Chapter near you.

Petitions for membership are signed by the applicant and recommended by two members of the Chapter in which the petition is placed. Specific fees will accompany the petition. Petitions are read at a stated meeting and referred to a committee of three (3) for investigation. Once the investigative committee returns with a favorable report, the petition is voted on and, if approved, you will then be initiated into the Order of the Eastern Star!

A member who has been under suspension for non-payment of dues may pay the current year’s dues plus a reinstatement fee. If suspended for more than (1) one year, three-fourths (3/4) of the members present at a stated meeting must vote to consent to reinstatement.

Be a freemason

Start your journey

Freemasons are united in the common goal of becoming better men. If you’re ready to find more, fill out the form below and a Freemason representative will reach out to you shortly.

Who We Are

A Freemason is a man who has taken an obligation to uphold our timeless principles of Brotherly love, relief, and truth. Beyond these basics, being a Freemason means so much more. A Freemason is a man who is committed to bettering himself and his community, having taken a solemn vow to help and mentor his Masonic Brothers do the same. A Freemason is a man eager to be part of something bigger than himself, with a reverence for history, compassion in his heart, and a desire to create a better future.

There are three degrees in Freemasonry: Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Mason. Most men advance to the level of Master Mason, some over the course of months; others may accomplish this goal over years. But once a man has taken his first obligation as an Entered Apprentice, he is, once and forever, a Freemason.
